Growing up on a farm in a small country town in Northland I loved the freedom of the outdoors and learning a myriad of practical life skills. I always aspired for more, and being driven started my career in Auckland after gaining a Bachelor of Business Management. Never afraid of stepping outside of my comfort zone I took a leap and left a great life surrounded by friends and family, I moved to Melbourne Australia accepting a new role.

Playing netball at regional and national representative level formed the foundation I still maintain today of discipline, determination, and enjoyment being both an individual contributor and part of a team with shared values and goals. This has transpired into giving back my knowledge and experience by volunteering as a netball coach to help teams achieve their potential.

My career has mainly been in sales moving up the corporate ladder and in the last 3 years, successfully leading and coaching high performing sales teams achieving their individual and business goals.

I find a great energy being surrounded by people but find gratitude in one on one connection in helping people reach their potential and success.  I am looking forward to supporting the Thriving Women Program.

Honesty, faith, gratitude, determination, respect and zero tolerance for nonsense is that my mother drilled into me from birth.  These principles have since served me through my adult life.  I am Chinese by decent but born and raised in Loklata India, moved to Auckland 2012.  Motivated by personal goals and the purist of knowledge. 

I am a Mother, a Chartered Accountant and working as a CFO/COO at a IT Firm and operate a boutique luxury travel business on the side.  The people in my life I have always looked up to and admired the most are the friends and family that surround and support me. 

I am very excited to meet some great people, and see how I can support them to achieving their goals.

I am a proud mum to a beautiful seven year old daughter, and privileged to be part of a very large and loving extended family. I am passionate about whānau and immensely passionate about all women having the opportunity to create and design a life of their choosing.  I have worked within iwi organisations and currently within the tertiary sector. My work in this space has predominantly focussed on Māori and Indigenous business engagement leading programmes internationally. I am also a Co-founder and Director of Rangaranga Ltd, an organisation that delivers transformational kaupapa Māori leadership and development programmes to whānau, and a Board member of the YWCA Hamilton.
